What is reverse DNS?
Reverse DNS, like is sounds is the opposite of Forward DNS. Instead of mapping a domain to an IP, you are mapping an IP to a domain. This acts as an identifier for your IP address. This is required by most mail servers to accept mail. Most users use the same domain as their system hostname for their primary IP address.
How to set reverse DNS
To create a reverse DNS entry, log in to our control panel and access your virtual servers. Under Networking, click on IP Addresses to view a list of your IPs. Next to each IP is a box where you can set the reverse DNS entry.
